For a global player in the water industry, we are currently recruiting a Key Account Manager in the UK.
The Key Account Manager will develop new and existing business opportunities within the Merchants Market sector and further develop the company’s brand by
taking ownership of all major Merchants for the UK and Ireland.
producing and implementing a business strategy.
identifying key influencers within the businesses and making the company a preferred supplier.
setting, negotiating and implementing all agreed teams and conditions with the Merchant head offices.
working and supporting the internal and external sales team to develop business through the Merchant supply chain.
developing and implementing processes and systems to improve the efficiency within the company to meet the customers KPI’s and for continuous improvement as well as quality.
working, liaising and communicating with all other departments within the company to develop and drive the business growth.
assisting in the development of sales and marketing literature and associated documents to improve brand awareness and recognition as well as point of sales through the Merchant branches and trade counters.
Degree in Business or similar qualification.
Experience of Merchants, Wholesalers, Distributors or Suppliers sales, business and marketing with a proven sales track record.
Excellent Commercial knowledge and experience.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Good understanding of the industry and the customers within the industry.
Excellent capability of Word, Excel, Power Point, CRM systems (Salesforce)
