For an international company in the automation industry, we are currently recruiting a Senior PLC Engineer. This position is based in the Czech Republic.
Your responsibilities
Implementation of electrical projects for an integrated system or sub-system
Management of scope, budget and schedule
Maintenance of internal and external customer expectations from the beginning to the end of the project
Product engineering work to support the life cycle of material handling units and equipment
Creation of PLC programs and onsite commissioning
Execution of all test plans on-site
Monitoring of project tasks lists and timelines
Reporting of progress
Collaboration with engineering teams
Your profile
Electrical/Mechanical engineering background - electrical and mechanical aptitude
3-5 years of experience in Controls Engineering
Broad understanding of core design features, project elements, overall electrical architecture
Ideally Knowledge of Siemens or Allan Bradley PLC Programming
Strong communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English
Knowledge of applicable standards related to electrical engineering
Experience with S7- Ladder, SCL/ST, Graph or C++
Interest and skill to collaborate with engineering functional teams
Troubleshooting skills
