For a global player in the water industry, we are currently recruiting a Senior IT-Manager with fluent English.

Your responsibilities

  • Management of overall information technology and computer systems at the listed countries according to global and regional guidelines

  • Management of the IT staff assigned in different locations

  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT operations

  • Implement and coordinate company policies and procedures

  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions

  • continuous improvement for IT

  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

  • Support / Helpdesk:

  • Projects / Process / BPM:
    Process analysis, elaboration and implementation of solutions in cooperation with the business departments
    Continuous improvement of IT Business processes adapted to the needs of the departments
    Support and further development of the ERP- system
    Interface function between IT and department/key users for the ERP system and connected systems
    Coaching of employees / trainees

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree in IT or comparable

  • Proven working experience as an IT manager with managerial experience

  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems

  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation

  • Ability to manage personnel

  • Several years of professional experience in IT user support

  • Experience SOX Processes

  • Knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures and their products

  • Knowledge of service and support of infrastructure and ERP systems in an industrial company with several sites

  • Fluend English and German in spoken and written

  • High willingness to learn, agility, teamwork

  • Knowledge of Cisco network is advantageous

  • Knowledge of Vmware/Citrix virtualization platforms are advantageous
